Hi there, I'm Lorenzo
I am a project manager. A parent. An expat living in Rome, Italy.
A few years ago, I relocated here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
The Beginning
Moving to Italy wasn't part of the long-range plan. Like many expatriate relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
In the early months, everything was overwhelming — unfamiliar systems, new routines, and new expectations. Daily tasks felt more tangled than they should.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines took shape. We uncovered spots that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Created Moon Glow Meander Origin
Most online guidance fell into either corporate relocation tips or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was a truthful, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap — practical advice grounded in real life in Italy.
